Over 40 Years of Podiatric Medical Clinical Experience

Dr. Milt Stern is a foot specialist who has been in clinical practice since 1980 after completing a podiatric surgical residency in Detroit, Michigan. He is an active member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association (MPMA).

From 2002 to 2005, Dr. Stern served as a podiatric medical consultant for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Over his 42-plus years treating patients in the Detroit area, he has cared for more than 45,000 individuals and helped train new podiatrists as a state-approved preceptor.

Dr. Stern has spent over 30 years researching and treating heel pain syndromes and plantar fasciitis. He designs customized hybrid orthotics aimed at addressing complex biomechanical foot conditions, relieving pain, and helping patients avoid invasive surgical procedures.

Our Mission: Affordable Custom Orthotics

Throughout my 44 years of practice, I have witnessed custom orthotics prices steadily escalate. In 1980, a pair of custom orthotics cost between $90 and $125. Today, due to lab fees, overhead, and markup, patients frequently pay between $500 to $1,500 for custom insoles.

At Orthotics4U, our mission is to deliver podiatrist-designed, prescription-quality custom orthotics at an accessible price.

Personalized Biomechanical Evaluation & Design

Every pair of custom orthotics begins with a thorough online biomechanical evaluation. We review your foot structure, symptom history, foot photos with pain markers or calluses, and footwear requirements via video consultation (Zoom, FaceTime) or detailed review.

After determining the precise biomechanical correction required, your custom orthotics are fabricated specifically for your feet and the shoes you wear every day.

Complete Custom Orthotic Package: $225.00
